Click

I just watched the best movie. It's called Click with Adam Sandler.
I balled my eyes out, and would highly recommend it to anyone who needs a moment to sit back and reassess their own life.

Would you like a tour of my home?

For those of you who have not yet had the chance to drop by for the tour, here is our home!

Here is the front of our place. It has a lot more snow in front of it now than when this picture was taken.

When you open the front door, this is the room you will be in - our family room.

Here is our kitchen. Isn't it quaint?

We commandeered the living room and turned it into a joint office (though one of us gets a lot more work done in it than the other...)

Here is our scrapbook/ guest room.

And finally, at the end of a hallway that you have to see to really grasp its very trailer-esque feel, is our bedroom.

CRUNCH!

Have you ever had a cereal sooo crunchy, you didn't think you could actually eat it? I did this morning.
Yup, exciting posting, I know.

So usually I eat my cereal right away so it's all nice and fresh, but this morning I had to let it get a bit soggy in the milk first so I could eat it without popping my eardrums.
FYI, it was awesome cereal. It's like a mixture of corn flakes with really crunchy rice krispies and has dried blueberries in it too.

How blessed I am...

I am so very thankful for my family and all the people who care about me. They keep me grounded and fill my heart with lotsa love. Here are a few more pictures from Christmas time with the fam'!

Yes, this is my father cutting the turkey with the help of his new headlamp.

We went to Queen Elizabeth park in the afternoon. It was beautiful, I can't believe I've never been there before.

Pix pix pix...

Here are a couple pictures from our trip to the Woodward's display. It was neat to go with the family down there. The last time I went was with my grandma, so it was pretty special going with my little nephew this time.

For those who don't know, a picture with Santa has been a family tradition ever since my parents have been dating. At one time in my life, I disliked this tradition. Now I love it. You can see my parent's little family grow from two to seven over the years. It's a great tradition, although it gets harder and harder each year to get everybody together.

Christmas Eve

On Christmas Eve, our family went down to the old Woodwards display at Canada Place and went up to the tree decorating contest at a hotel a few blocks away. Dad treated us to lunch at the food court across the street from Canada Place too.
The outing was wonderful, despite a bit of drizzle. It was so nice just hanging out as a family.
(Here is where I would post some pictures, but apparently Blogger doesn't feel that I need to post pictures right now...)

Merry moments

What a great Christmas we had! We spent lots of time with family then came back home and spent lots of time with friends. THe only problem with such a lovely time off is that I have to go back to work now!

We got to spend lots of time with our little nephew. He is such a great little kid, and so much fun to be around. He seems to love being destructive and is so much the classic little boy it amazes me.
