Lest we forget

A veteran putting the First World War wreath at the cenotaph.

A moving ceremony this morning.

Don't forget who we are, where we came from and the freedoms that we have in this country.

  1. No kidding. I was watching the Remembrance Day speeches about guys who had recently died over in Afghanistan, and I couldn't help but tear up because they all seemed like such great people and they left behind such nice families. I am thankful every day that my hubby is home with me!

  2. I agree Rhonda. I thought a lot about the two world wars last week and it's tough to think that my husband, brother, dad and friends would probably all have been over there fighting if we lived in that time.
